Education Rose Garden Come take a tour of our recently pruned rose garden. Hover over each rose to find its name. Click on a rose to find out more information about that rose.

Schedule

February

1) Complete setting anchor bolts at our portable building.
2) Pull out drip system at Star and Hub and redo/repair.
3) Turn on all irrigation systems and run for about an hour each and check if repairs needed.(Roses and Pampas definitely need repair.
Probably can run about four or five valves at a time. Hand water Penstemon and Daylillies, and grass beds
4) Mulch rose bed area.
5) Leave drip system on windbreak trees run overnight.
6) Clean up trash, etc.
7) Pull up winter grass as needed.
8) Prep rye grass beds

March

1) Repair sign at the beds
2) Install wooden frames around the plastic containers at the Penstemon beds.
3) Pull out winter grass and weeds.
4) Tentative pruning deadwood all shrubs, etc.
5) Start bed preparation prior to spring planting.
6) Water all beds
7) Clean up trash, etc.
8) Herbicide treatment for weeds if warm enough

April

1) Complete bed preparation for spring planting next month
2) Water all beds
3) Clean up trash, etc
